The fifth judiciary is now nearly complete. Eight members were sworn in as councilors of the CSPJ. These include Barthélémy Altenor, Vice President, Noé Massillon Pierre-Louis, representing the Courts of Appeal; Wando Saint-Vilier, representing the Courts of First Instance; Lionel Constant Bourgoin, Government Commissioner at the Port-au-Prince TPI; Erode Bazile, representing the Peace Courts; and Jude Thimogène, representing the Human Rights Sector.
Jean-Joseph Lebrun, President of the CSPJ, praised the outgoing councilors for their sense of responsibility and collaboration. In just two years, they had completed five operations to certify magistrates, published the judicial ethics guide, and established two regional offices for judicial inspection.
