Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé outlined “the framework for developing action plans for ministries” while laying out the priorities of the transition period in a letter dated December 2, 2024. The letter included an assessment of Haiti’s economic, political, and social situation, coupled with a warning about the country’s limited financial resources.

“I would like to remind you that we bear the historic responsibility of laying the groundwork for long-awaited national recovery. The task before us is immense, but it also carries the hope of millions of our compatriots who are watching us, evaluating us based on our actions,” wrote Mr. Fils-Aimé.
