French Ambassador to Haiti, Antoine Michon, handed over four armored vehicles valued at one million euros to the Haitian National Police (PNH) in the presence of Director General Rameau Normil and Minister of Justice Patrick Pélissier, on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

“In the presence of the Minister of Justice and Public Security, I handed over four armored vehicles to the Haitian National Police this morning. France is committed alongside Haiti and the PNH in the fight against criminal gangs to restore security and peace,” stated a tweet from Ambassador Michon. “In 2024, another budget of one million euros enabled the purchase of the four TYGOR armored intervention vehicles that we are officially handing over today. They were delivered in November and immediately given to the BRI to be deployed in ongoing operations,” the French ambassador explained.
