Several solidarity initiatives in support of displaced persons and law enforcement officers deployed on the ground have been undertaken in Kenscoff, as observed by Le Nouvelliste during a visit to the town center on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

The first demonstration of solidarity comes in the form of housing for families. Among the approximately 18,000 displaced persons, only about 1,200 are housed in the four sites managed by the town hall. Kenscoff's executive agent, Massillon Jean, who spoke with the newspaper, reported that many families have found refuge with relatives or even mere acquaintances who have offered them shelter.
