A few months ago, on September 25, 2024, a forum on investment in Haiti was held at the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel, on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly.

The President of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), Edgard Leblanc, Prime Minister Garry Conille, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dominique Dupuy, as well as the Minister of Commerce and Industry, James Monazard, participated and led the discussions. According to Edgard Leblanc, the organization of this forum was “a carefully considered decision that reflects the Haitian authorities' determination to address the issue of unemployment in general, and youth unemployment in particular.”
