The statement also emphasized the CPT's "commitment to the values of regional solidarity," reaffirming its support for the Dominican neighbors in these "moments of mourning."

The Presidential Communication Office also expressed its wish to "share the pain of the Dominican authorities and all affected citizens," thus illustrating the close ties between the two nations despite current tensions.
