The RNDDH, through its structure in the Central Department and the organization known as the Haitian Youth Society (SOJHA), provided an assessment of the armed gang attacks against Mirebalais and Saut-d’Eau in a report published Thursday, April 10, 2025.

These coordinated attacks carried out by gang members from the criminal groups 400 Mawozo and the Taliban of Canaan, which constitute the 13th “episode of violence recorded in Haiti since the inauguration, on April 25, 2025, of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT),” left more than 80 dead, according to the RNDDH.
