During the 7th edition of the initiative "Les Mardis de la Nation," organized on May 6, 2025, at the Prime Minister's Office, Georges Wilbert Franck, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, presented the actions undertaken by the government to meet the growing needs of internally displaced persons as well as those of compatriots who voluntarily return from the Dominican Republic.

The head of MAST highlighted the humanitarian emergency that the Haitian state must confront. "Faced with this prolonged situation of displacement, we have the moral and institutional duty to propose concrete solutions while respecting human dignity," he affirmed.
