Security Challenges in Haiti: USA, Dominican Republic, Colombia, CARICOM – Each Doing Their Part

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé spoke on May 7 in the city of Les Cayes. The head of government reiterated the Haitian executive's promise to hold elections in the country.

"The transition I am leading has a clear roadmap: security, Constitution, elections. There will be no turning back. We have chosen the path of elections, and we will not deviate from it," reads a press release from the Prime Minister's office, published on that day.
