Livres en folie is back for its 31st edition. This Thursday, June 19, 2025, the event will be held at the premises of the Frères de l’Instruction Chrétienne (FIC) in Pétion-Ville, on Saint-Pierre Square. For those who were there for the first edition of the fair, it feels like a return to the roots. In 1995, it all began at the Promenade Complex, already in the vicinity of Saint-Pierre Square.

Over the years, as success grew, along with the number of authors signing and the number of participants, Livres en folie took place at Cercle Bellevue in Bourdon, at the Parc Historique de la Canne à Sucre in Tabarre, at the Musée du Panthéon National at Champ de Mars, at UNIBANK Park in Tabarre, at the Karibe Convention Center hotel in Juvénat, before returning to Pétion-Ville, where it all started.
