The Minister of Economy and Finance, Alfred Fils Métellus, hosted a farewell cocktail in honor of Ulrika Richardson, the United Nations Resident Coordinator, to mark the end of her mission in Haiti. The event took place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, on the rooftop of the Karibe Hotel, in the presence of members of the government, directors general, and international partners.

During the ceremony, Ms. Richardson received a painting from Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé as an official token of appreciation from the Haitian State. The head of government concluded by expressing hope to see her again in future shared endeavors.
