The game of musical chairs continues at the Port-au-Prince prosecutor’s office, which has seen the appointment of a third government commissioner in just 22 days. The dean of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, Bernard Saint-Vil, presided on Tuesday, September 16, over the swearing-in of Fritz Patterson Dorval, appointed as the new acting head of the Port-au-Prince prosecutor’s office, Le Nouvelliste has learned. Dorval thus succeeds Roosevelt Cadet, who had been named acting government commissioner on August 25.
Prior to this appointment, Fritz Patterson Dorval was in charge of the prosecutor’s office at the Petit-Goâve Court of First Instance.
