The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) investigated the 10 million gourdes disbursed on behalf of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) in connection with the commemorative activities of the Battle of Vertières on November 18, 2024.

The investigation reveals a large network of embezzlement of public funds within the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), directly involving Minister Niola Lyn Sarah Dévalis Octavius and several of her collaborators.
