The president of the committee of the Federation of EDH Workers’ Unions (FESTREDH), Pierre Michel Félix, deplored the silence of the highest state authorities regarding this situation, which should, nevertheless, be a priority. Speaking on the program Panel Magik this Wednesday, November 12, Pierre Michel Félix said he had contacted government officials and members of the Transitional Presidential Council several times, but to this day no decision has been taken on the matter.

“Not even an assessment of the pylons that were sabotaged at Péligre has been carried out so far,” Félix lamented. “Are the authorities going to abandon the plant so that it will no longer be able to operate? When will it be able to restart?” asked the union leader, stressing that the repair work is extensive and could take up to six months.
