Assistant to Rigobert Song with Cameroon’s national team during the 2002 World Cup, Sébastien Migné will appear at the next World Cup — to be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19, 2026 — as Haiti’s national head coach.
Yet everything began quietly for the 52-year-old French technician. In his first match at the head of the Grenadiers, he settled for a 1–1 draw in Cayenne against the French Guiana national team. Before that match, Haiti had suffered seven straight defeats. In the absence of Johnny Placide and Ricardo Adé, he entrusted the captain’s armband to Duckens Nazon, who scored Haiti’s goal from a penalty.
