Since the announcement of the three-billion-gourde subsidy in the 2025–2026 budget, more than 225 political organizations have already regularized their status at the Ministry of Justice. As in 2015, they are organizing themselves to benefit from this public financing.

According to Article 183 of the draft electoral decree submitted to the Presidential Council by the Electoral Council, during electoral competitions, the State grants to political parties and groupings of political parties that have approved candidates a subsidy to help them conduct their electoral campaigns. According to the electoral calendar, the campaign for the first round of voting will begin on March 15 and end on August 29, 2026, that is, twenty-four hours before the vote.
