The Haitian national football team, after 52 years of absence, will make its return to the World Cup in a difficult group with the presence of Brazil, the top seed; Morocco, which is none other than the best national team on the African continent and fourth-place finisher at the 2022 World Cup; and Scotland, the only representative of European football in Group C.
The Grenadiers have never faced Morocco or Scotland, neither in a friendly nor in an official competition. It will be a first for Duckens Nazon and his teammates. Nevertheless, these two opponents, on paper, are favored in predictions compared to Haiti’s national team, considered one of the underdogs among the 48 countries participating in this World Cup.
