While some members of the Transitional Presidential Council (TPC) were unable to remove Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, they nevertheless hope to change certain ministers and directors general before February 7, 2026. A member of the TPC told Le Nouvelliste on Tuesday evening that at least six directors general and four ministers are in the Council’s crosshairs.

“We have already agreed for several months to carry out changes in six to eight directorates general. But this had been delayed because of several factors,” the TPC source told Le Nouvelliste.
