Set up as every year at Artisanat en fête, held for the first time at the Brothers of Christian Instruction (FIC) in Pétion-Ville from Saturday, December 20 to Sunday, December 21, the Mak Pa Nou brand experienced an edition marked by contrasting yet encouraging attendance. While the first day saw a moderate crowd, the second attracted a larger audience, confirming a trend well known to exhibitors.

“It is always with the same pleasure that we take part in Artisanat en fête. Generally, the first day is calmer, as many people wait for the second day to come,” explains Smith Makendy, head of Mak Pa Nou. According to him, this edition was well managed and sales were satisfactory—a tangible sign of the public’s appreciation for artisanal products and its willingness to support local creators.
