In a note made public at the beginning of the week, that is, two days after the expiration of the mandate of the members of the Presidential Transitional Council, the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) reminded former high-ranking State officials of their legal obligation to submit their asset declaration within a maximum period of thirty days following the end of their functions.

However, according to information obtained by Le Nouvelliste, the anti-corruption institution does not intend to limit itself to this legal formality. The ULCC plans to go further: it intends to deepen the investigation into the management of the country’s former leaders in order to closely examine how they used public resources during their time in power.
