Singers Anie Alerte and Rutshelle Guillaume were headlining on February 14, 2026, at Bentley’s club. Two leading female figures of their respective musical formations came together for a highly anticipated tandem. The event drew hundreds of fans who came out to support these two major figures of Haitian music.
It was 2 a.m. when we finally arrived at Bentley’s in Brooklyn. Like some members of the audience, we had just come from “The Theater at Madison Square Garden,” where Nu-Look’s symphonic concert was being held. Inside, the observation was undeniable: a packed house. It was impossible to make our way to the front of the stage. Compact and feverish, the crowd was determined to secure front-row seats for this historic moment—a tandem between two star lead singers of musical bands. Curiosity or a desire to support the ladies? Whatever the case, the ladies delivered, offering a performance that lived up to expectations.
