The National Commission for Disarmament, Dismantlement, and Reintegration is back. The Council of Ministers has indeed published a decree appointing new members to this body. The CNDDR is now composed of Guerda Prévilon, coordinator, Michel Jean Marie Léonidas, member, and Gardy Maisonneuve, also a member.
Guerda Prévilon and Michel Jean Marie Léonidas were part of the previous commission that was dissolved in May 2025 by a resolution of the Transitional Presidential Council. In a statement issued on May 2, 2025, the CPT justified the dissolution of the CNDDR by citing a generalized loss of confidence and serious accusations against several of its members, calling into question their impartiality and integrity.
