The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. government agency that regulates and oversees air transportation in our large neighboring country, has once again postponed the reopening of Port-au-Prince’s airspace to American aircraft and airlines.
A new assessment of the situation will now have to wait until September 2026. The news came as a new administration was taking office at the head of the country.
