The Supreme Court will examine arguments related to the Trump administration’s efforts to end legal protections granted to people fleeing war or natural disasters in several countries, including Haiti and Syria, the Associated Press reported on Monday, March 16, 2026.
The high court agreed on Monday to hear the case after the Department of Justice appealed lower court rulings that had delayed the termination of these protections, which allow beneficiaries of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to live and work in the United States, according to AP.
