Out of the 320 political parties that submitted their documents to the Electoral Council in view of participating in the upcoming elections, 282 have been approved. The others have until April 2 to complete their files.

In a statement published Thursday, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) indicated that, in accordance with Article 144 of the electoral decree of December 1, 2025, and the electoral calendar currently being implemented, it has published the list of political parties authorized to participate in the upcoming electoral contests. Of the 320 political parties registered, 282 have been approved by the CEP.
