After four years at the head of the National Office for Partnership in Education (ONAPÉ), Dr. Hervé Boursiquot handed over the baton to Stéphanie Paultre on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The ceremony was presided over by the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Vijonet Déméro, at the institution’s premises in Péguy-Ville.

“Before the establishment of ONAPÉ, it was difficult to convince stakeholders to harmonize their interventions in order to avoid duplication and the implementation of projects that were not aligned with the government’s action framework—projects that could not sustainably meet the needs of the population and that were, for the most part, synonymous with a waste of money,” the minister stated. “ONAPÉ succeeded in bringing everyone into agreement on national priorities, even if, from time to time, there are signals suggesting that some would like to return to past practices that deserve to be definitively eliminated within a serious and responsible educational partnership,” he added. He praised the “proven technical mastery and commendable commitment” of the outgoing director general, which enabled the young institution to fulfill its mission.
