The Haitian National Police announced on Monday, April 13, 2026, the arrest of seven individuals as part of the investigation opened following the deadly stampede that occurred on Saturday, April 11, at the Citadelle Henri, which claimed the lives of 25 people.

In a statement published by the Police Communication Directorate (Dicop), the institution specified that these arrests were carried out on Sunday, April 12 in Milot by the intervention unit of the Departmental Judicial Police Service of the North (SDPJ/Nord), acting under the instructions of the government commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Cap-Haïtien, Me Eno Zéphyrin.
