The Haitian National Police and the Armed Forces of Haiti are expected to receive new armored vehicles in the near future, Le Nouvelliste has learned from government sources. The PNH is awaiting 22 Roshel Senator-type armored vehicles from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. The same source indicated that 22 armored vehicles (Roshel Senator), 13 of which are currently under repair, have been recovered from the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMAS).

“In the Captain category (smaller ones), they left us 15 vehicles, of which 4 are in the hands of the Ecuadorians,” our source said, adding that 3 of the largest armored vehicles, of the MaxPro type, were sent to Kenya. “Two others of the Century type will soon be handed over to us,” the source continued.
