Ever since it transitioned from being a travel agency to becoming an airline, Zed Airlines has not limited its ambitions. After connecting Haiti with São Paulo and Florianópolis, Brazil, the company, inaugurated on May 22, is now expanding its horizons with a flight to Miami and planned services to New York, Atlanta, Montreal, Les Cayes, and other destinations. Le Nouvelliste spoke with the company’s CEO, David Jn-Charles.

According to Mr. Charles, the young airline intends to revolutionize the aviation sector in Haiti by offering affordable fares while ensuring quality customer service. “We inaugurated the Cap-Haïtien–Miami route on May 22. Six flights have already been operated on that route. Our aircraft has a capacity of 150 seats. We offer affordable and highly competitive pricing, with a promotional plan at $361.89 that includes a carry-on bag, a standard plan at $377.34 that includes a carry-on and one 23-kilogram checked bag, and a flex plan at $475 that includes a carry-on and two 23-kilogram checked bags,” Mr. Jn-Charles explained.
