As head coach Sébastien Migné faces harsh criticism from Haitian supporters in the aftermath of Haiti's match against Morocco, Fritz Adrien is taking the opposite stance. According to him, the Frenchman should remain at the helm of the national team. "If it were up to me to decide for the Federation, I would continue with Migné," he said.
He bases this position on what he describes as the coach's "good results" since taking over the Grenadiers in 2024. "When he arrived, we were at the same level as teams like French Guiana," Adrien said, pointing to the team's early performances under Migné, including a 1-1 draw against French Guiana in his first match. "Now we're competing against Brazil, ranked sixth in the world, Morocco, ranked seventh, and Scotland, ranked 30th."
