Born in Haiti and trained at Vélez Sarsfield, Stephen “Kiki” Ramos has just joined the Argentine U17 preselection camps. In Port-au-Prince, Ambassador Pablo Graziano already sees in his journey a possible link between the two countries, even though his international future has not yet been definitively decided.
Stephen Ramos, born in 2009 in Port-au-Prince, was adopted before his first birthday and spent his youth in Argentina. For the Vélez Sarsfield forward, this first call-up to the U17 preselection, led by former Argentine international Diego Placente, represents a significant step, although it is not yet a final selection or an irreversible international commitment.
