Baltimore SC, runner-up in the 2026 national championship organized by the Haitian Football League, is not participating in the 2026 CFU Club Shield because of financial problems and other factors, according to Roberto Baptiste, Secretary General of the CBS-26 Baltimore Sportif Club Special Committee.
“Following Baltimore Sportif Club’s qualification for the 2026 CFU Club Shield, the club established the CBS-26 Special Committee, which was tasked with coordinating all preparations related to our participation in this regional competition. As Secretary General of the CBS-26 Special Committee, I had the honor of working alongside a team of committed women and men driven by a common objective: enabling Baltimore Sportif Club to represent Saint-Marc, Haiti and all its supporters with dignity on the Caribbean stage,” he said while explaining why Baltimore SC was unable to take part in the competition.
