Haiti’s U20 team had a strong run in the group stage of the Concacaf U20 Championship. Despite an opening 3-0 defeat against the United States, the young Grenadiers bounced back against Cuba with a 2-1 victory, thanks to goals from Miguel Joseph and Da-Benz Jacquet.

To close out the group stage, the players coached by Raúl Valentín Gonzalez Triana and Ernso Datus secured three valuable points against El Salvador with a 3-2 victory. Clavens Exantus, Franco Célestin and Da-Benz Jacquet scored Haiti’s goals. The match was also marked by Shaun Brun’s sending-off early in the second half.
