The Sainte-Trinité School of Music and Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with Won Sant Lan, held a major public concert on August 9, 2026, at Place Boyer in Pétion-Ville. The event aimed to promote music, highlight Haiti’s cultural heritage and offer the community a moment of sharing. It was around 7:30 p.m. when the concert ended on a distinctly local note with Lavil Okap by Sydney Guillaume, conducted by Maestro Elizé Doirin.

As on every weekend, Place Boyer was very lively on this Sunday in August. Exceptionally, the presence of the musicians from the Sainte-Trinité School of Music drew all the attention. It was a concert of classical music whose program heralded the celebrations of the school’s 70th anniversary and the 55th anniversary of the Sainte-Trinité Philharmonic Orchestra.
