The National Police of Haiti (PNH) informed the public on Saturday, September 26, 2026, that it had regained total control of the localities of Godet, Viard-1, Viard-2, and Bois d'Avril in the municipality of Kenscoff. These areas had been occupied for several months by terrorist gangs that imposed their law there.<\/p>

According to a press release published by the police institution, law enforcement forces managed to dislodge the criminals and regain control of the last area still in the hands of the bandits, that of Bois d'Avril, on Friday, September 25, 2026. This advance was made possible thanks to a series of strong offensives conducted with determination by the officers on the ground.<\/p>
