The Office of Citizen Protection (OPC) organized an open house dedicated to peace and human rights on Friday, September 25, 2026. More than 200 people attended to learn about the institution's various services and speak directly with its officials. From the early hours of the day, employees stationed at the entrance to the OPC, in Delmas 83, were ready to welcome visitors. Students, journalists, institutional representatives, and members of various sectors walked through the institution's doors to obtain information.

The event was held under the theme “Investing in Peace, for Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.” Organized as part of the International Day of Peace, celebrated every September 21, the event brought together several prominent figures. Electoral Council member Jacques Desrosiers, representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and other representatives of the government and various institutions took part in the discussions.
