The announcement by the Dominican Sports Minister prohibiting the Haitian national football team from using the sports facilities in his country again has sparked confusion within the Haitian Football Federation.

According to a source contacted by Le Nouvelliste, Haiti has not organized a match in the Dominican Republic since 2023. Previously, the FHF paid ten thousand US dollars for each match played in a stadium in the DR.
