The friendly match between Haiti and Japan turned into a real rout. The Grenadières, confronted with Japanese realism and greatly outmatched by the skill level of the Nippones, suffered a heavy 5-1 loss on Friday, October 9, at Bauer Stadium (France) in front of a crowd that brought the energy and fully supported the Haitian cause.
The Haitian women's national football team started the game with an unusual tactical setup: 3-4-3, with Melchie Daëlle Dumornay playing behind the two forwards Nérilia Mondésir and Brittany Raphino.
