The case of Thélyson Orélien continues to spark debates. In a statement sent last Tuesday to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the author denies any accusations regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in writing his novel It Was Either That or Die. He does, however, acknowledge having resorted to plagiarism in the past to write certain texts.

As we write these lines, the internet continues to ignite around this book, which has become a true publishing phenomenon, with nearly 65,000 copies already sold.
