The Haitian women's national football team suffered a heavy defeat of 1-7, half-time 1-2, on Tuesday, October 13 at the Walter-Luzi stadium (Oise), France, against Australia. This crushing loss raises doubts about the Grenadières who will face Mexico on November 28 in the quarter-finals of the Concacaf women's championship, which will serve as qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil and the 2028 Olympic Games in the United States.

As was the case against Japan, the head coach of the Grenadières, Pia Sundhage, opted for a three-man defense with Jennyfer Limage, Claire Constant, and Kethna Louis; a four-man midfield with Anyssa Ibrahim, Sherly Jeudy, Batcheba Louis, Roseline Eloissaint; and a front line of three with Melchie Dumornay behind Nérilia Mondésir and Brittany Raphino.
