The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Vijonet Déméro, met with representatives of UNESCO on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Paris to discuss strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation with Haiti. Among the topics addressed were: the installation of microscience laboratories in schools and UNESCO's technical and scientific support for the creation of a museum dedicated to the history of slavery in Bois-Caïman.<\/p>
