As the country faces a severe security crisis and numerous economic and social difficulties, the transitional government announces, through the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, Pythagore Dumas, new investments in sports infrastructures. During a conference held at the Villa d’Accueil, the minister presented the main outlines of this program. The first stadium will be built in the North, in Milot, while the second will be located in the South, in Les Cayes, replacing the Larco park.

"The government notes a lack of sports infrastructures in the country. We are managing to allocate funds in the budget to rehabilitate and construct sports infrastructures. We have two major stadium projects, one in the grand North and the other in the South," said Pythagore Dumas.
