Displaced persons housed in the Ministry of Public Works camp in Delmas 33 protested on Monday to demand the payment of the 100,000 gourdes promised by the government and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to enable them to relocate. The demonstrators denounced the inhumane conditions in the camp, characterized by unsanitary conditions, overcrowding, and the lack of adequate shelter.<\/p>
