"The emergence of youth and women in public life" is one of Munir Joseph Mourra's main goals if he gains access to the supreme office of the state. The businessman, president of the political party Mobilization for the Progress of Haiti (MPH), is officially registered as a presidential candidate on the online platform of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP).

Interviewed by Le Nouvelliste about the meaning of his candidacy, Munir Joseph Mourra stated that it is time to give the country a new direction. "After 40 years of wavering from one political regime to another, a transition today lasting a 5-year presidential term, the country needs a new orientation. In the context of the collapse of the state, translated by physical insecurity, food insecurity, and social insecurity, the MPH is determined to take the path of good governance," declared Munir Joseph Mourra, affirming his party's willingness to participate in elections to provide the country with legitimate power.
