As the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) modified the electoral decree for the third time, several political parties continue to denounce anomalies that, according to them, slow down the process of registering candidates for the upcoming elections.

Speaking on the show Panel Magik, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Andy Marcellus, head of the political structure COPPOS-Haiti, criticized the sluggishness of several public institutions in issuing the documents required from candidates. He specifically mentioned the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CSCCA), and the justices of the peace.
