The Support Group Against Cancer (GSCC) continues its efforts to raise awareness and support individuals affected by cancer in Haiti. Invited to the Panel Magik show this Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Sherlyne Charles and Dr. Chequina Chéry discussed the difficulties faced by patients in a context where resources remain insufficient to meet their needs.

Founded in 1999, the GSCC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inform the public and support patients throughout their journey. This support goes far beyond medical care. “When a person suffers from cancer, they need psychological, nutritional, and, most importantly, financial support,” explained Sherlyne Charles.
