The Éditions de l’Université d’État d’Haïti (UEH) presented, on Thursday, October 16, 2026, at the rectorate of the Université d’État d’Haïti, on Rue Rivière, the collective work titled Revisiting the Work and Thought of Jacques Stéphen Alexis. Published on October 15, 2026, this 518-page book gathers 24 articles dedicated to the literary, cultural, and political legacy of one of the great Haitian writers of the 20th century.

Originating from a colloquium organized on April 21 and 22, 2022, to mark the centenary of Jacques Stéphen Alexis's birth, this collection is directed by Professors Darline Alexis, Berard Cénatus, Fritz Berg Jeannot, and Louis Rodrigue Thomas. It represents the culmination of several years of scientific and editorial work.
