The Haitian Bureau of Copyright (BHDA), affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Communication, organized a training on copyright law at the Retrouvailles Hotel in Cap-Haitien on Tuesday, October 20, and Wednesday, October 21, 2026. It was aimed at judges and judicial staff in the Cap-Haitien jurisdiction.

The opening ceremony gathered representatives from the press, cultural stakeholders, and other personalities interested in the protection of intellectual works. The director of legal affairs, Me Maxène Dorcéan from BHDA, delivered the opening speech. Judges, lawyers, bailiffs, magistrates, and commissioners were among the participants.
