The former vice-president of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Me Carlos Hercule, believes that an assessment of the electoral legal framework is necessary to identify provisions that could block the process and prevent a possible postponement of the elections. Speaking this Friday, October 23, on the Panel Magik show, the lawyer particularly highlighted the inconsistencies of the new electoral decree and the difficulties related to its implementation.
For Me Carlos Hercule, the publication of an electoral calendar will not be sufficient to guarantee the holding of elections if the issues contained in the legal framework are not resolved.
