Former President Joseph Michel Martelly officially submitted, on Friday, October 23, 2026, the supporting documents for his candidacy for the presidency of the Republic, under the banner of the political platform Debloke.
The operation took place at the Departmental Electoral Office (BED) Ouest 1, on the Frères Road in Pétion-Ville. The 56th head of state, who led the country from May 14, 2011, to February 7, 2016, was accompanied by several lawyers and a crowd of several hundred supporters.
